“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”
About me.
I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals with a wide range of concerns. As a psychologist, my approach first and foremost is to provide a safe and judgement free place to talk and receive support. I have training and expertise in multiple evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, MBCT).
A little about my background - I got my BA in Psychology from Springfield College and then went on to get my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from University of Hartford. My psychology residency was in university counseling in Boston, MA and my Postdoctoral Fellowship was at Yale University. I trained and worked at Yale for over 6 years before starting my current position working with D1 student-athletes. I am also listed on the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Mental Health Directory (2025).
Although much of my training and full time work has been with college-age and athletes, I have experience working with all ages and many mental health concerns. See below for some of my areas of expertise!
I believe strongly in people’s ability to change and to overcome obstacles. My therapeutic focus is in self understanding and awareness and in finding strengths that you maybe don’t even know are there. Life is hard and everyone needs a little help sometimes.
